What is Sylfirm X
RF Micro-needling?
Sylfirm X is an advanced radiofrequency (RF) microneedling treatment designed to improve skin quality, texture and firmness. The treatment uses ultra-fine needles to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy beneath the skin’s surface, creating targeted thermal stimulation while minimising unnecessary disruption to the surrounding tissue. This stimulates the skin’s natural repair response and promotes the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin.

Sylfirm X can be used to address a range of skin concerns, including fine lines, skin laxity, enlarged pores, uneven texture and acne scarring, as well as selected concerns involving redness, rosacea and pigmentation. By combining controlled microneedling with targeted RF energy, treatment can improve the underlying quality of the skin rather than simply addressing its surface appearance. The appropriate settings, depth and treatment approach will depend on your skin, the area being treated and your individual goals.
How many treatments will I need?

For skin rejuvenation, a course of approximately 4 or 6 treatments, usually spaced 4 weeks apart, is commonly recommended, although some patients may benefit from fewer or additional sessions depending on their concerns. Because collagen remodelling occurs gradually, improvements continue to develop in the weeks and months following treatment. How does Sylfirm X work?

Sylfirm X combines two technologies in a single treatment: microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy. Traditional microneedling uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body’s natural healing response and collagen production. Sylfirm X adds a second element: radiofrequency energy delivered through the microneedles generates controlled heat within targeted layers beneath the skin’s surface. This combination provides both mechanical and thermal stimulation, promoting collagen and elastin production and remodelling to improve overall skin quality, texture and firmness.
Sylfirm X also incorporates both continuous-wave and pulsed-wave RF modes, giving the doctor additional flexibility when developing an individualised treatment plan.
